I survived!

Hooray for me! We're having another thunderstorm right now, because I guess the weather has decided that come 3-5 o'clock, it's time to break out the BIG OL' STORMS right around my house.

In further storm-related news: today's post!

And now I am going to hide under my bed because THUNDER IS SCARY.

I confess, I've always LOVED thunder storms, and the louder the better(forest fires, not so much).

I remember listening rapt when I first actually heard and felt real ROLLING THUNDER, coming louder and stronger, moment by moment, to the Kansas farm from miles and miles out west. It finally, for one perfect endless moment, FILLED. THE. WORLD.

The Upwards post on 5 Minutes for Parenting is a powerful thing as well. Metaphoric rolling thunder, it also starts out quiet, distant, and ends up very close(to the bone) and big enough to fill the world, at least momentarily.

Ya did real good(again...some people got all the talent)

Yeah, it is scary. Funny though, it has never woken my babies. On another note, I've been having my own Woe is Me few days, so thank you so much for writing that. It is very comforting to know I am not alone in my disaster of a mess house!
