speaking of fragile people - how are all the new babies/ parents??
I've really enjoyed reading through your blog, and I could related completely to this post, especially the awkwardness between both sides of the family. I have three kids three and under, and the holidays were too stressful. My husband and I decided we would see each family every other year for Thanksgiving. I'm sure the family who has the 'off' year feels hurt, but we are trying to enjoy our immediate family, as well!
