STORM!

WOW, it is windy outside! I hope a house doesn't land on me.

Today's post is about the shared work of parenting, and how hard it is to relinquish control. And now that it's written, I'm going to go hide in my basement. Yikes!

As with you, my dreams and reality didn't quite mix once the child-bearing and raising got underway.

Of course, it turns out that this was a good thing...Having the Stepford family (cottage version) wouldn't have been nearly as ineresting...or satisfying.

Ha, ha! The other day, it all of a sudden (literally) went almost as dark as late evening - at 9am in the morning. I said "I'm frightened Aunty Em!" to the person buying something at our garage sale table.

Gosh, I'm funny.
