It IS the last full week of summer. I can't believe it. Enjoy some relaxing time. I'll be spending the week planning a birthday party....

It's gorgeous down here right now. Lots of sunshine, dry "Canadian" air and bright blue skies. But the shadows are beginning to lengthen, and our low last night was in the upper 40s. (House temp this morning upon waking: 65.)
We can blog to our heart's content come November. But we won't be able to take the kids to the park then.
Did you see the pic of my cutting board I posted last week? Yup, a new cutting board is on my list too.
Hey Beck, do you have any idea why I can't click on the links for your Kitchen Party and 5 Mins posts directly from my Reader? Sometimes, I don't make it over b/c I am forced to click over to your blog and then over to your other posts. I know that sounds pathetic but I really do not like unnecessary clicking. My fingers are perpetually numb as it is.
Anyway, I thought you'd want to know about the tech glitch.

Kitchen Party ate my comment...it really wasn't all that tasty either. We are banking on the spaghetti/salad combo tonight. Dinners that make everyone happy are always a winner in my book.
I just need a cutting board, period. We're staying in a "furnished" apt and you know how badly the kitchen is always stocked in places like this.
