Home Again, Home Again

We're back from our weekend trip, and a more or less lovely time was had by all. I'll write more about it tomorrow, but today, I'm going to rest up and catch up on our laundry. You can read my somewhat wistful Kitchen Party post today, which is about our attempts to navigate sugar and overprocessed foods and my grumbling kids.

I so agree with your Kitchen Party post! I am not as good as you to make homemade granola and all that, but by controlling their sugar intake I think we are all the better for it.

Welcome home! We are still in re-entry mode from our camping trip last week. It is normal to take a week to even start the laundry, right?

Hey, good to have you back Beck! I agree wholeheartedly with the kitchen post. One of the things that slays me is that here in the U.S. we have lots of public schools that have pop machines in the cafeteria, so kids are tempted by it and have access to it without mom or dad peeking over their shoulder. Seems idiotic to me! No wonder we can't get them to pay attention in class when they've had a can on the bus on the way to school and another with their lunch.

Glad everyone had a more or less lovely time. That's about as good as it gets for a family vacation!

O.K.
You're kicking me off my seat to remind me that we just got back from camping and I have laundry to do too.
Must motivate!

Welcome home! Belatedly. I know I'm late in reading this but I've been busy in New England. And now I'm home, too. And playing catch up on all my favorite blogs.
