It's Monday!

My parents just whisked my kids away so that I could write my Kitchen Party post, which is sort of unintentionally melancholy and about carrot cake. Carrot cake: THE FOOD OF MILD SADNESS.
So go read that and say hi. I'm off to enjoy having a shower without being interrupted 500 times. Whoo!

I hope you got the chance to just stand there and soak up the quiet and the warmth. : )

Your carrot cake story broke my heart a little... kudos to you for attempting gluten-free poptarts!

Beck,
I just read your comment to your own comment page! HA! When did that appear? Were you getting harassed??

Anyway - you are such a good mommy to try to re-create glutenfree poptarts for the baby.... she will love and appreciate the effort!

Carrot cake is really not my favorite. Uninterrupted showers, however, ARE my favorite. Mmmm. Enjoy, enjoy.

"Carrot cake: THE FOOD OF MILD SADNESS" - HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man. I needed that.

And I just came out of a nice long shower. Fortunately, my youngest is now old enough to just play in the bathroom while I shower. No interruptions except the occasional chat or question.

You can shower without interruptions?!?!?! That exists? Wow.

I would stay in the shower all day. How would I know my time was done if I didn't have a little person screaming on the other side of the shower curtain?

No kids getting in the shower, and no "dogs" (yes, even our Yorkie interrups my showers)...ahhhhh! That would be heaven!

A shower without interruption? That only happens around here at 5 a.m. Can't wait to see your carrot cake post.

Carrot cake = birthday cake in my family, so it's good. As long as people don't put raisins in it. What is up with that?

Carrot cake AND an uninterrupted shower...you've hit the jackpot, my friend!

Hmmm... an uninterrupted shower is even better than carrot cake!

Hope you enjoyed your shower! I can only shower in the evenings when Joe is home now...I don't trust Kayla enough to leave her alone w/Lucas (especially since she tries to pick him up!) so no shower for me in the mornings! Unless I get up early before Kayla :)
